Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)
Dip your toes into scuba diving without committing to a full course?
With the PADI® Discover Scuba Diving half-day experience, it’s entirely possible.
Together with a Scuba Point instructor, you’ll partake in a brief 30-minute theoretical session where you’ll learn the basic principles needed for a safe diving experience. You’ll be guided through the use of diving equipment and the essential underwater conduct.
After this, you’ll board a boat, and within 10 minutes, we’ll reach a secluded cove within the breathtaking La Maddalena Archipelago. Our diving adventure starts from a picturesque beach, sheltered from winds and waves.
You’ll embark on your first dive, descending to a maximum of 12 meters, exploring our submerged paradise for approximately 40 minutes.
Once the adventure concludes, a swift 10-minute return trip brings us back to Palau.
Minimum age: 10 years

Theory - time commitment 20-30 min
Total time commitment: 2-3 hours
Open Water Diver (OWD)
The PADI® Open Water Diver course is your first step into the world of underwater certification. You can study the theoretical part from the comfort of your home, thanks to PADI eLearning® platform. We take care of the practical part: five confined water sessions, plus four open water dives down to a maximum depth of 18 meters (about 60 feet). Divers aged 10 and 11 must dive with a PADI® professional or a certified parent/guardian, and are not permitted to exceed a depth of 12 meters (40 feet). Divers between the ages of 12 and 14 must dive with a certified adult and the dives must not exceed a depth of 18 meters (60 feet). With this certification, not only will you hold a passport recognized at diving centers worldwide, but you’ll also unlock the opportunity to explore our submerged paradise, a unique experience that’s second to none!
Minimum age: 10 years
Prerequisites: Able to swim; medically fit for diving
eLearning time commitment: 5-6 hours
Total time commitment: 4-5 days
Depth: Maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
The PADI® Advanced course is the second level certification, and it’s all about advancing your skills. Five specialty dives, three of which are chosen by the diver, one deep dive (max. 30mt) and one navigation dive. In this regard, Scuba Point will select the most important specialty dives to conduct safe diving in the Mediterranean. For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications. Thanks to the PADI eLearning® platform, it will be possible to do the theory from home, when and where you want.
Minimum age: 12 years
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
eLearning time commitment: 6-7 hours
Total time commitment: 2-3 days
Depth: The maximum depth is up to 30 meters
PADI® Rescue Diver
Among scuba diving courses, the PADI® Rescue Diver course is undoubtedly one of the most important. With this course, you will learn to identify and address minor issues before they escalate into major problems, build a lot of confidence, and have a great time in the process. The theoretical part is completed at home through the PADI eLearning® platform. The practical water training sessions, conducted by Scuba Point, are both educational and enjoyable. During these sessions, you will practice handling various scenarios like a leg cramp and assisting a fatigued diver by engaging in role-playing exercises with other students and your instructor.
Minimum age: 12 years
Prerequisites: Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive; EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months
eLearning time commitment: 8-9 hours
Total time commitment: 4-6 days
Emergency First Response (EFR)
Gain the skills and confidence to save the life of someone you care about. After completing the Emergency First Response CPR & AED course, you’ll know how to help someone who may be experiencing cardiac arrest with an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), or by providing traditional or hands-only CPR. The online PADI eLearning® platform makes easy to follow the CPR and AED course when and where you want. Training videos show proper techniques and teach you how to respond to different types of emergencies. The eLearning time commitment is of 2/4 hours. With your Scuba Point instructor, you’ll learn nine essential skills for helping others in an emergency including how to use an AED on adults and children and how to help someone who is choking. You’ll practice your new skills in role-playing scenarios. The time required to complete the practice portion will be about 4 to 5 hours and no scuba certification is required, as well as no age limit.

Prerequisites: Desire to help others
eLearning time commitment: 2-3 hours
Total time commitment: 4-5 hours
PROFESSIONAL
PADI® Divemaster
Start your scuba diving career with the PADI® Divemaster course! Learn how to lead underwater tours, assist with scuba classes and inspire others to care about the ocean. PADI® Divemaster is the most popular and most recognized professional scuba certification in the world. PADI® Divemasters enjoy abundant career opportunities, get paid to scuba dive and share their love for the ocean.
Minimum age: 18 (15 for Junior Divemaster)
Prerequisites: PADI® Rescue Diver certification (or qualifying certification); completion of Emergency First Response® Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months; minimum 40 logged dives; medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.

Appena arrivati te senti già a casa, n’accoglienza che manco da mammà: er tipo all’accoglienza, ‘n certo Luca, simpatico come er pane co’ la porchetta, t’illustra tutto, senza fa er professorone.
Istruttori top: preparati, pazienti e pure co’ ‘Na bella dose de simpatia. Io c’avevo un po’ d’ansietta, che dici “no me butto sott’acqua, che succede?, e invece tutto tranquillo. T’ispirano fiducia che manco er prete quando te confessi.
Le attrezzature? Sembrano nuove di pacca, tutto pulito, tutto ordinato, che quasi uno non se crede de sta in Italia.
E l’immersione… madonna santa! Un’acqua che pareva la piscina di lusso, pesci a pacchi, pure un polpo che pareva uscito da un film d’animazione, ce mancava solo che m’offriva un café sott’acqua.
Prezzi onesti, niente fregature, e te porti a casa pire ‘Na bella esperienza da raccontà ad bar.
Insomma se volete fa ‘n tuffo come se deve, ve consiglio sto posto ‘co tutto er core.
Nun ve fate fregá da quelli che je piace solo chiacchierà: qua se fa sul serio, ma co' er sorriso.

Ottimo diving! Personale super gentile, professionale, simpatico e disponibile. Abbiamo fatto una doppia immersione a Caprera con la barca da Palau e ci siamo divertiti molto. Gruppo di solo 4 persone per ogni guida sub e seguiti con molta cura. Abbiamo visto castagnole, salpe, murene, piccole cernie, corvine pinna gialla, alcune murene, un polpo in tana, una cicala di mare in un anfratto. Barca molto confortevole con brioche, caffè e acqua offerte fra un'immersionw e l'altra. Super consigliato!!!
Io e il mio compagno abbiamo conseguito il brevetto Open Water ed Advanced il presso questo diving. Ci siamo trovati benissimo sia con il proprietario che con l istruttore Matteo(molto competente e paziente). Super organizzato tutto lo staff! Ci torneremo sicuramente! Grazie!!🙏🏻 ❤️

Ho fatto una doppia immersione con mio marito a inizio giugno.
Il comandante Francesco ci ha portato sui siti di immersione rapidamente ma senza farci patire il mare, è stato molto attento alle nostre esigenze e ci ha aiutati a salire e scendere dalla barca.
L’istruttore Pierrik anche lui molto competente e disponibile ci ha indicato sia grosse cernie, lucci e murene sia piccoli coralli. Si è preoccupato di verificare come stessimo e ha fatto di tutto per farci stare bene.
Tra una immersione e l’altra ci hanno offerto te caldo e brioche.
Entrambi simpatici e conoscitori della zona.
Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere!

Di recente ho fatto una doppia immersione con Scuba Point e ho vissuto un'esperienza fantastica. È stata la mia prima immersione in mare aperto dopo aver superato il corso PADI Open Water in un lago torbido nel Regno Unito: un ambiente infinitamente migliore! Tutto il team è stato incredibile, dall'inizio alla fine. Matteo in particolare è stato paziente, gentile e una guida eccellente. Mi ha aiutato a sentirmi a mio agio in acqua e ad acquisire gradualmente maggiore sicurezza. Matteo si è prodigato per condividere la sua conoscenza ed esperienza sulla fauna selvatica e sulla zona in generale. Abbiamo visto cernie, moltissimi barracuda, piccoli nudibranchi e persino un tonno! Non posso che consigliarlo vivamente.

Esperienza subacquea indimenticabile nell’arcipelago della Maddalena
Ho avuto il piacere di conoscere questo centro diving nell’ottobre scorso, quando ho fatto il brevetto Open Water. L’ambiente impeccabile, gli istruttori qualificati e l’organizzazione perfetta.
Abbiamo esplorato l’arcipelago in lungo e in largo, immergendoci in posti straordinari. L’esperienza è stata talmente positiva che ho deciso di proseguire con il brevetto Advanced.
Tornato nel grigiore di casa, non vedevo l’ora di tornare. Così, ad aprile, ho ripreso le immersioni con i corsi Deep, Nitrox e Stagna. Ogni immersione è stata un’emozione unica: tonni, cernie, barracuda, polpi… la varietà della fauna marina è straordinaria.
Un aspetto che merita particolare attenzione è la simpatia e la disponibilità dello staff. Ogni membro del team, oltre a essere competente, sa come creare un'atmosfera accogliente e amichevole, rendendo ogni immersione non solo un’esperienza formativa, ma anche piacevole e divertente.
Se cercate un centro diving dove professionalità e passione per il mare si uniscono a un ambiente familiare e accogliente, questo è il posto giusto. Non vedo l’ora di tornare per nuove avventure!

Great service with very friendly and competent instructors. I really enjoyed diving with Matteo and Patrick. My last dive was a few years ago, but Matteo gave me a great refresher and I was much more confident in my diving straight away.
Grateful for two great days of diving with Mateo at Scuba Point. Friendly and respectful team who were good with two new young divers (11 and 13). Definitely recommend!
Wonderful! One of the best diving schools I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. In addition to everyone speaking more than one language and being super friendly, they have a lot of experience. The dives speak for themselves, the visibility is incredible, they always do different spots if you do more than one day, really wonderful.

We had an amazing time diving with the team from Scuba Point and had a 5-star service! We were able to stay on the island of La Maddalena and the crew picked us up there every day. They even organised gluten free snacks for us on the boat!
The team was friendly and professional, we felt completely safe during the entire time and saw many beautiful fishes and rock formations. We can definitely recommend!

It was a really cool experience. We did two really cool dives. The group was very nice, and the instructors, Pierrick, Patrick, and Franchesco, were very friendly. They helped with everything we needed and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommended!

I did a double dive with Scuba Point and had a phenomenal time! The staff were so helpful and kind, they all made sure to introduce themselves and answer any questions we had. It's a great experience for a great price, and I would absolutely go again.

I recently did a double dive with scuba point and had a fantastic experience. It was my first ocean dive after passing PADI open water in a murky lake the UK - this was an infinitely better setting! The whole team were incredible, start to finish. Matteo in particular was patient, kind and an excellent guide. He helped me to feel at ease in the water and become gradually more confident. Matteo went out of his way to share his knowledge and experience regarding the wildlife and the area as a whole. We saw grouper, loads of barracuda, tiny nudibranchs and even a tuna! I cannot recommend highly enough.

I had the pleasure of getting to know this diving center last October, when I did my Open Water certification. The impeccable environment, the qualified instructors and the perfect organisation.
We explored the archipelago far and wide, immersing ourselves in extraordinary places. The experience was so positive that I decided to continue with the Advanced certification.
Back in the grayness of home, I couldn't wait to return. So, in April, I started diving again with the Deep, Nitrox and Dry courses. Each dive was a unique emotion: tuna, grouper, barracuda, octopus... the variety of marine fauna is extraordinary.
An aspect that deserves particular attention is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Each member of the team, in addition to being competent, knows how to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, making each dive not only an educational experience, but also an enjoyable and fun one.

I had two great dives today with Sabrina. The team around Lucca is very friendly, nice and helpful. Everyone speaks English very well. Sabrina speaks German and of course everything is in Italian. The equipment is excellent and the spots are well selected and just fun. Thank you everyone for this great experience!
Many thanks to the whole team at scuba point. We spend two fantastic days with you. Our guide Sabrina was very professional and calm. Even under heavy weather conditions she managed everything, so we could enjoy the dive.
I did 6 dives with them at La Maddalena. Diving is done from the boat, which also has a small cabin and even a toilet. The guides are all nice, but in my opinion they could have been a little more helpful, especially for inexperienced divers. The dives were okay, but quite disappointing when it came to fish, I think. But still all in all good.

One of the best dive shops in the world in one of the most beautiful places in the world. The shop is extremely accommodating and flexible, also located in the best possible spot by the marina. Very experienced guides, with a 100% service first attitude.

I had an incredible day of diving with the entire team, they are great professionals. Especially Sabrina, my instructor who is most likely the best diving instructor on the entire Island. Thank you for everything, I will be back for sure!!!
We did a baptism dive with Scuba Point, and it was amazing! Davide explained us the basics of diving really clearly. After that we went into the water and he and the whole team were making sure we were feeling safe. We really enjoyed it and we would recommend it to everyone!
Very nice and professional team. A surprising amount of staff. Equipment is prepared, brought onto the boat, and there is always someone to lend a hand without being intrusive. Good and orderly atmosphere on board. The captain has heart and humor.
I did the 8.30 trip with two dives. Seen about 6 x larger Zacki's, a swarm of Baracuda and some slugs. Good quality equipment. Plenty of space on the boat, everyone was very attentive. Relaxed guides. Compared to many other diving events, the day, the spots and the team are among the very good. It was really worth it.

In our experience it proved to be excellent, friendly and helpful staff, the rigid hull boat that took us to the various dive sites was very comfortable. The accompaniment of the guides was very good. I can't comment on the equipment as we had our own, but it seemed like well-maintained equipment. 12 and 15 liter cylinders available and the possibility of using various mixtures. Punctual both at departure and in dive management. They were very kind to prepare the equipment for us directly on the boat on the days of the dives, and to return everything to us already dry, folded in our bags.

Great dives with Sabrina Kraus. It was very peaceful, the underwater scenery is beautiful and the instructor was amazing! She made us feel very safe and took us to great places. The whole team in the center is super super nice 🙂 Highly recommended!
Sabrina was my instructor for OW and AOW. She was fantastic, her explanations of the exercises were always very good and made me feel safe.
My daughter and I took an introductory diving course at Scuba Point today. It was very well organized. Our instructor SABRINA was very patient, explained everything in detail and calmly, and repeated the exercises until it worked.
Davide took great photos of our dive, which I received via email shortly afterwards.

A beautiful place in Palau, to go diving, I did the open water course with Davide and Anna and I loved it! They transmit their passion for what they do and make you want to continue learning. All the staff is very good, they always welcome you with a smile and are at your disposal. Thanks for everything🥰🥰

Davide was so professional, reassuring and patient in his instruction, making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. I had a great time with two fun dives during a morning trip. After fours years of no diving for me, Sabrina did a very helpful and relaxed refresher course at the beginning of my first dive. Davide led the second dive and showed some great spots.
